It Takes 2 to Make a Farm Go Right with Judy Snead | Snead's Farmhouse Sanctuary

Snead's Farmhouse, founded in the summer of 2019 by Shane and Judy Snead, has quickly become a cherished sanctuary within our community. Initially established to rescue injured ducks, we have since embraced a multifaceted role on the farm. In 2021, we joyfully opened our gates to the public, offering a variety of engaging experiences such as field trips, birthday parties, and private family tours. Our overarching mission is to express gratitude for the blessings bestowed upon us by giving back to others, in accordance with our faith.

We are excited to share our farm's inspiring journey through a book we have written. This delightful short story revolves around Judy's irresistible urge to have not just one, but two animals. Through this tale, Judy discovers an important lesson that Leroy, the donkey, imparts upon her. Leroy, despite his differences in appearance, exemplifies kindness and harmoniously interacts with the other farm animals who may not resemble him. The book serves as an educational tool, allowing Judy to impart these valuable insights to others.
