Class Description:

Denise and Deannette are twin sisters on a mission to create a thriving homestead for their families. With a passion for sustainable living, they and their families are learning to grow their own food, raise their own meat, and create homemade jams, salsa, relishes and pickles. Harvesting their vegetables from their raised bed gardens, they spend many of their summer days canning their harvest and providing ample amounts of food for their families. Everyone chips in during harvesting season and Stumpy, Deannette's husband has become the Master at canning their vegetables. Are you intimidated by the pressure canner? Can we show you how easy it is to use? With the right information and tools you can become a Master at canning your own vegetables and even your own meats. Come join us for a light-hearted class on using a pressure canner.
