Golden Hour Herbal Tea Blend
A bright citrus herbal tea inspired by the most beautiful hour in the garden.
Golden hour in the garden is my favorite time of day.
As the sun begins to sink lower in the sky and casts its warm golden glow across the flowers, herbs, and vegetables, the garden seems to slow down and invite you to do the same. It is a time to pause, reflect, and soak in the beauty of all that has grown.
Inspired by those peaceful evenings, I created Golden Hour in the Garden, a bright and refreshing herbal tea blend crafted with roselle, rose hips, lemongrass, and dehydrated oranges—many grown and harvested from our Potager garden at Just Dig It Farms.
This beautiful blend brews into a vibrant, citrusy tea with a refreshing balance of tart and sweet notes. Enjoy it warm while taking a leisurely stroll through the garden, or add a splash of orange or pineapple juice and serve it over ice after a long day of gardening for a cool and revitalizing treat.
Whether I’m sitting quietly among the flowers, tending the garden in the evening light, or simply taking a moment to rest, this tea is often in my hand. My hope is that each cup encourages you to slow down, savor the moment, and find a little peace in your own golden hour.
Ingredients:
Roselle Hibiscus, Rose Hips, Lemon Grass, Cinnamon chips, Dehydrated orange
Brewing Directions
For a Warm Cup of Tea
- Add 1 tablespoon of herbal tea blend to a tea infuser or diffuser.
- For a stronger flavor, add a little extra tea blend.
- Pour 8 oz. of freshly boiled, filtered water over the tea.
- Cover and steep for 30 minutes.
- Sweeten with raw honey to taste (we recommend Just Dig It Farms Honey!).
For a Refreshing Iced Tea
- Prepare the tea using the directions above.
- Add a splash of orange juice or pineapple juice.
- Refrigerate until chilled.
- Serve over ice and enjoy!
