Tulsi/Holy Basil | Herb Profile

TULSI, better known as Holy Basil, is native to Asia, & grows prolifically throughout India, parts of Africa, Caribbean and the Pacific Islands. Tulsi is one of the most highly

regarded herbs in Ayurvedic medicine and has been used for over 3000 years medicinally.

Tulsi is a wonderful addition to any garden. It brings a sweet fragrance to the garden and blooms prolifically throughout the growing season attracting many beneficial insects and

pollinators. The Honeybees absolutely adore it!

Tulsi Basil can be used in many culinary dishes. It does have a more pungent flavor than your sweet basils.
